The average person lives their entire life without even knowing that they don't know or know how to do something. Many people do not think about the importance of education at all, believing that it does not affect them in any way. In fact, everyone at some point begins to think about what will happen to them in the future, what they should know and what they should not do. So how does learning happen?
Is it possible to assess the ability to learn by modern criteria, and is the person even capable of thinking and making the right decisions in a situation?
The author explores the learning process using the example of a democratic state, where people themselves choose what to learn and what knowledge to acquire. A democratic society is characterized by the active participation of citizens who have their own ideas about what knowledge to acquire and what knowledge not to acquire. This provides the opportunity for knowledge in any education and at various levels. In a democratic society, people not only choose a specialty, but they are happy to participate in the learning process, which is absolutely normal for everyone. This happens as a result of scientific learning. In a democratic social structure, there is an opportunity for education in all areas. This article will talk about the formation of professional education.
The author, being the head of an educational organization, conducted a study to examine the effectiveness of the formation of competencies in students receiving secondary vocational education.
Having studied about 500 vacancies for teachers of general education and about 1000 positions for schoolchildren, we note that people with a rather low level of qualification come to graduate from school. It turns out that it is not enough just to want to get a secondary vocational education.
During the period of higher education, the student acquires additional professional training in a specific specialty, with a clearly regulated cycle of education and has the opportunity to obtain a diploma in a specific field.
Formation of competences of students in practice
Professional training received in higher and secondary education is comprehensive, which implies the formation of students' basic qualities and competencies. The development of these competencies occurs during the study of disciplines.
The basic personal qualities include: the ability to understand and solve problems; the ability to navigate the dynamics of those or other socio-economic processes; the ability to create and apply organizational management technologies; the willingness to comply with the norms of professional ethics and morality.
Willingness to comply with the norms of individual and social responsibility allows the individual to foresee the consequences of his actions and timely correct them in the interests of achieving the ultimate goal.
Ability to adapt to changing conditions of professional activity.
